ATV Riders at Peterson Point in Casto Canyon

Friday, May 14th, 2010

If you are looking for a great ATV ride, try going to Casto Canyon.  Casto Canyon is located in Central Utah. It has some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen. A lot like Bryce Canyon with red rock formation and hoodoos, Casto Canyon is great for ATV riding, horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. If coming from the North, in Panguitch, Utah, take Highway 89 East to Casto Canyon Road. If coming from the South, take Highway 89 from Hatch, Utah to Hwy 12 east towards Red Canyon. Just prior to  the first red rocks, there is a sign for Losee and Casto Canyons on the north side of the highway.  Take the dirt road to the trailheads of these canyons.  Losee Canyon is not for OHV’s but in Casto Canyon you can trail ride in spectacular country.  Peterson Point was our final destination. But in the coming days I will share pictures from our fabulous ride in Casto Canyon.

ATV Parade World Record Attempt?

Monday, April 12th, 2010

Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree  held in Richfield, Utah in 2009 made an attempt to break the World Record for Longest ATV Parade.  They event was a lot of fun for participants. We have many pictures of the events and will post them at ATV West in the coming months leading up to the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree of 2010. The question is… did the record get broken? The answer will be coming soon.

Update: After 14 long months of waiting it was confirmed that riders from the Rocky Mountain ATV officially hold the Guinness World Record for the longest ATV Parade with 1,870 ATVs.
